The beauty market in Europe earns more than 100 billion euros per year. While many other companies are fully digitized, this sector is still in the 20th century, and most entrepreneurs use the phone, pen and paper to organize their interactions with customers. The inefficiency, which is due to this, already generates losses. 

JOLYY operates an online platform for booking cosmetology services, which will be modernized using blocking technology. Our mission is to improve the existing market of online reservation in the beauty industry, offering an innovative and highly effective platform for work time masters' reservations.

Currently, leading suppliers on the market introduce excessive commission for beauty salons, at the same time they provide an inefficient product that is not suitable for this type of service. Treatwell is a competitor to JOLYY in Europe, and its business model is to find new customers, rather than providing a platform for online booking. Their model is not sustainable, and this again confirms the fact that few industry representatives use this platform. High commissions and late payments (sometimes for months) are another reason for the experts' unwillingness to use existing platforms.

The problem with payment delays

Currently, the payment for services on the platform is carried out through a centralized system. The procedure is as follows: customers pay the platform, the platform pays to beauty salons with a two-week, monthly or more delay. Banking and transaction fees are paid twice. In addition, because of the delay in beauty salons, there are no advantages to paying cash. Through JOY, payments will be made on a peer-to-peer basis, without bank charges, the recipient will receive them immediately upon request.

The JOLYY solution is simple and effective: The service will be free for suppliers and end users at the initial stage, after the system is developed, the commission will be 2%. Existing platforms charge a staggering 20%!

At present, existing platforms eventually inform their customers if someone has ordered their services. Beauty experts remain unaware of important things, such as: the number of searches for their services, the number of customers who viewed their profile, the number of reservations for a particular type of service performed through the platform, etc. All this does not contribute to the adoption of effective managerial decisions, which adversely affects business.

The new JOLYY platform will transmit all information in an unbiased manner so that experts in beauty can make informed decisions that will add value to their business and reputation. Sellers will receive regular statistics and an analysis of the number of visits to their profiles. All data is formed on the basis of the block, that is, they will be open to different stakeholders, which will ensure double verification of information.


With the new JOLYY solution, salon managers will :

Our platform is a website where all those who want to participate in the system will be represented. Customers can search for masters by various criteria. When they choose a service, they can see the schedule of a particular beauty expert, choose an available time interval and place an order with a few mouse clicks. A specialist receives a push notification on his phone, and the assignment automatically goes into their schedule.

Suppliers can manage their profile (photos, prices, descriptions, working hours, etc.). Suppliers will also receive statistical and analytical information about their business, which will allow them to make management decisions and change their business proposals in the right direction. JOLYY will always adhere to the position according to which suppliers should have the freedom to manage their profiles. Each beauty expert will install on his smartphones an application specially designed by JOLYY (patent application, current version - JOLYY Business on Google Play and the Apple App Store), which will allow them to fully manage their schedules.

For online booking to be successful, online orders must be in correlation with offline. Current platforms do not provide an easy way to fill the schedule with offline orders, and these hours remain unavailable to Internet clients. This is one of the reasons why none of the suppliers listed on the current sites update their schedule online. Another important reason is costly commissions.

JOLYY has a solution - our three-step model (patent) for beauty experts for booking affordable watches :

The name of the client is first filled in manually. After entering the name will be saved and appear as a sentence, so the next time it will not need to be filled again.

This simple model takes a few seconds, it is easy to use and saves time. Our goal - each client could book through the platform and save time, avoid telephone conversations and writing on paper.

Through the application, the beauty expert will see all the planned procedures that will be indicated in the hours and dates. They will also have a mark that will notify them if the customer used the website or if the booking was manually entered. In addition, the account administrator will have access to the calendar of all his employees and, thus, will monitor the workload and make orders. At the same time, customers will be able to communicate with beauty salons via text messages using the application.

JOLYY is the first project that offers a social platform in this industry.
We plan to develop an additional function for our clients - social network JOLYY live. This option has already been implemented in the existing version. JOLYY live will become a social place where sellers can on a daily basis upload photos and comments about what they did in their salon. Users can enjoy, comment, follow the experts or other users, as well as upload and share photos.

Currently, cosmetic salons and experts buy the necessary cosmetic products from sales representatives of major cosmetics manufacturers such as Avon, L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Braun, etc. By developing a database of suppliers and implementing JOLYY Store, the project team will establish communication with leading brands to offer their products directly to beauty salons. Thus, we will reduce the supply chain, which will inevitably positively affect the price of the products offered. Our goal is to develop and popularize the transparent and specialized market of the beauty industry. We will provide the same opportunities for smaller brands, which no longer have to spend a lot of money on advertising and buying places in stores. Payment transactions will be made using JOY.
